Short version: be kind, be honest, be careful with other people's information, and never help anyone cheat.

1. Be kind
Disagree with ideas, not people. No bullying, name-calling, shaming marks or ranks, or comparing people. Everyone here is learning — a "silly doubt" is never silly.
2. Keep exams fair
- Never post questions from an exam that is in progress, leaked papers, or anything that helps cheating.
- Discussing past papers and syllabus topics is great. Don't claim a question is "from this year's paper" if it isn't public.
3. Be accurate and give credit
- Explain things in your own words. Quote and credit when you use others' work. Don't copy and paste from books, coaching notes, websites or AI tools without saying so.
- If you're not sure about a fact, say so. If someone corrects you — thank them and edit your answer.
- Student answers can be wrong. For anything that matters, check NCERT, the official notice or a teacher.
4. Protect privacy
Don't share your or anyone else's phone number, address, school or coaching name with timetable, photos of other people without permission, or screenshots of private chats. Don't try to find out who someone really is.
5. Look after each other
Exam stress is real. If a post sounds like someone is in danger or thinking of hurting themselves, don't argue or joke — report it so an editor sees it, and point them to the help page. If someone is in immediate danger, call 112.
6. No spam, no selling, no stunts
No ads, referral links, paid-course promotions, mass-posting, giveaways or off-site chats. Links are fine when they help (and new accounts can add links after 24 hours).
7. Keep it age-appropriate
No sexual content, graphic violence, hate, drugs or gambling. No jokes about self-harm.
8. Use the right place
Post a story to share something you learned or lived through. Post a question when you need help — say what you tried. Pick the closest topic and add a few tags.
What happens if rules are broken
Editors may remove content, ask you to edit it, restrict your account, or in serious cases delete it. Reports are reviewed by people, not only automatically. If you think we got it wrong, write to spnikam1984@gmail.com.
How to report
Use Report on any story, comment or profile. Pick a reason and add a note — only editors see it. Reporting is never held against you.
