Group 13 ionisation enthalpy doesn't decrease smoothly (Ga > Al, Tl > In). Is that the inert pair effect or something else?
It's 3 am again and the anxiety is doing its thing, so I'm doing chemistry instead of staring at the ceiling. Group 13 data from NCERT. First ionisation enthalpy kJ/mol : B 801, Al 577, Ga 579, In 558, Tl 589. I expected
